Man badly hurt



A MAN, 34, found lying unconscious on a Grafton road last Friday remained in the Gold Coast Hospital in a critical condition yesterday.

At 6.40pm a motorist travelling along Dobie Street found the man. He was taken to the Grafton Base Hospital with serious head injuries. He was flown to the Gold Coast Hospital for specialist treatment.

Police have not released the man's name or details surrounding his injuries.

A hospital spokesperson said the man was being treated in the intensive care unit.
