Man stabbed



A GRAFTON man, 34, was stabbed in the chest on Saturday, after an altercation at a Bacon Street home.

Police were called to the home at 2.15pm after two men got into an argument.

On arrival they found the injured man, who was conveyed to Grafton Base Hospital before being released on Saturday night.

Following investigations, police went to a home at Casino on Saturday and arrested a 46-year-old man who was charged with malicious wounding.

During a search of the man's car, police located a knife, which was taken for further testing.

The 46-year-old man was granted conditional bail and is due to appear at Casino Local Court on June 7.
