Men front court facing sex charges
A COURT case involving a 32-year-old man charged with allegedly having sexual intercourse without consent, was brought before the Grafton Local Court yesterday.
The South Grafton man was charged in Grafton on October 16 with a total of four offences, two of which involve sexual intercourse without consent, detaining a person with intent to obtain advantage occasioning actual bodily harm and one charge of robbery.
The man yesterday was refused bail and is expected to appear in the Grafton Local Court February 5.
nMEANWHILE a 68-year-old Clarence Valley man charged with a raft of alleged sex offences will face Grafton District Court for a paper committal trial January 9.
On September 29 2006, the man was charged with numerous offences including attempted sexual intercourse with a person under the age of 10 and aggravated sexual assault of a victim under the authority of the offender.
