Music to their ears



THE Clarence Valley Conservatorium has announced the 13 student winners of the 2005 music and drama scholarships.

"They were funded through the NSW Department of Education and Training with the aim of rewarding students' skills and talents," said Greg Butcher, manager of the Clarence Valley Conservatorium.

The winners of the $600 senior music scholarships are Stuart Bailey, Alana Campbell, Joseph Gallagher, Christopher Sheehy, Adam Wilson and Genevieve Worrell.

The junior music scholarship of $200 went to John Marsden, Jo Jo Newby and Kate Woodhouse. The senior drama scholarships of $600 were won by Rosie Flannigan, Sabeena Manalis and Sahlia Painter. The junior drama scholarship of $200 went to Sophia Wray.
