Mustangs keep a clean scoresheet in Ghosts rout

JOINT leaders Murwillumbah racked up 60-plus points and kept competition cellar dwellers Grafton scoreless at Stan Sercombe Oval yesterday.

However, their performance was marred by dropped ball and an injury concern to skipper Glenn Weaver who picked up a knee problem mid-way through the first half.

The lacklustre Grafton side rarely threatened the Mustangs' line in yesterday's one-sided Northern Rivers Regional Rugby League affair.

Centre Jason Willis and second-rower Jarrod Flick both bagged doubles in the 11-try rout.

MURWILLUMBAH 62 (Tries, J Willis 2, J Flick 2, R Willis, B White, S Murphy, R Lang, M Harley, A Pollard, R Reid; Goals, R Murphy 9) d Grafton 0.

RESERVE GRADE: Murwillumbah 42 d Grafton 8.

UNDER-18: Murwillumbah 22 d Grafton 10.
