National recognition for Black Toyota

IN ONLY their first year of operation, Grafton's Black Toyota has won the highest award Toyota Motor Corporation Australia bestows on any of its dealerships, the 2004 President's Award for Excellence.

At a recent awards ceremony, the dealership went on to win further awards for excellence in sales, motor vehicle service, spare parts, business management and customer satisfaction.

And the awards didn't end there, with the dealership also taking out the Silver Knight and Triple Crown trophies for achievements in passenger, commercial and overall vehicle sales performance.

Black Toyota general manager, Danny Scott, said only seven dealerships nationwide were presented with the President's Award, which recognised dealers that were considered to have gone beyond the call of duty.

Mr Scott said the dealership, previously known as Doug Clark Toyota, was recognised as being number one in the region for customer satisfaction and number seven nationally.

He attributes this to the manner in which his staff looked after its customers in all stages of the buying process.
