Nervous Tara hits the Jaca catwalk

JACARANDA Queen candidate, Tara Fitzpatrick was excited and nervous stepping on stage recently for a fundraising fashion parade.
Comfortable in high heels but not as comfortable with strange and unfamiliar faces in the crowd, she said it was great practise for the big day coming up.
"It was my first Jacaranda event, and it was fantastic, especially all the great feedback," Ms Fitzpatrick said.
"We all had a ball, and everyone who was there watching wanted to be there," she said.
The latest fashions were modelled by all of this year's Jacaranda Queen and Junior Queen candidates, at the annual Jacaranda Fashion Parade.
Last year's royal party and a group of previous matrons, modelled as well, along with some handsome men and young boys.
Held upstairs at the South Grafton Ex-Servicemen's Club, last week's parade featured fashions from 16 local stores.
Ms Fitzpatrick said the stage was set up like a jigsaw, with all the pieces joining together.
"It was really embarrasing because I sort of fell through one of the cracks, but luckily I don't think many people saw," she said.
There were fashions on parade for all the family, ranging from casual to surf wear to formal and bridal wear.
"All of the candidates were on show and it was a fabulous night."
