New sponsor for premiers

Westlawn Cricket Club had their AGM last Friday night.

Office-bearers for the season are: Ken Wilson president, Tim Grosser vicepresident, Andrew Firth treasurer, Eddie Gordon secretary.

The Westlawn club would like to thank the Grafton Hotel for their sponsorship over the last six years where they have won five premierships, with a new offer being made from the Crown Hotel where Westlawn will be based this season.

Training for the club and sign-on days for seniors and juniors will start this Thursday, September 15, at 4.30pm and every Tuesday and Thursday after that.

The club has also decided to have a pre-season match out at Gunnedah on the October long weekend.

Players available should contact Tim Grosser or Tony Blanch as soon as possible.

We will be leaving on the Saturday morning and returning on the Monday.

All players owing money from the previous season must get their money into Andrew Firth as soon as possible.

All previous players and new players are welcome to the club.

Westlawn Cricket Club will be looking to have another successful season in defending their first and second grade titles.

Any new players should contact Tony Blanch 66434380 or Ken Wilson 66447601.
