Offering all the fun of the fair

By Adrian Miller

The Yamba Lifestyle Expo 2005 is on again this weekend and promises something for everyone.

Organised by the Yamba District Chamber of Commerce, businesses servicing Yamba and the Lower River will be on hand to strut their stuff and showcase the goods and services they can offer the community.

Established businesses such as Westlawn Finance and Wesley Uniting Employment will be there, as well as fledgling, locally-invented products, such as Brick Grip.

Community organisations will also be in attendance, with Toastmasters, The Port of Yamba Historical Society and Rotary all occupying stalls.

A demonstration of broadband capabilities for Yamba and surrounding areas will also be made.

Event organiser Bev Mansfield said the expo was an excellent opportunity for local businesses to highlight their products and reach members of the community who ordinarily they might not be able to.

The expo 2005 will be held at the Yamba Bowling Club auditorium from noon on Sunday. Entry is via a gold coin donation, with all proceeds being donated to local youth projects.
