Opportunity for extreme sport fans

CLARENCE Valley wakeboarding enthusiasts will have the chance to learn from the best on November 27 and 28 as the World Industries Wakeboard Tour makes its way to Grafton.

Poolworks director of watersports Fraser Robinson said Grafton was the only place between the Gold Coast and Newcastle that the tour would stop.

"(Wakeboarding) is starting to get a lot bigger now ... but the idea of this is to promote wakeboarding through the community," Mr Robinson said.

A number of professional wakeboarders, including Dwayne Priestly and Daniel Watkins, will make their way to the Clarence for the tour and clinic which caters for all levels of riders. Mr Robinson said places at the clinic were extremely limited and anyone interested should book through poolworks on 6643 2200.
