Police confiscate South Grafton cannabis plants

A POLICE raid on a South Grafton home on Saturday afternoon has yielded a cannabis crop with a potential street value of $10,000 and the arrest of a 34-year-old man.

Police issued a search warrant and entered the house on the corner of Vere and Bent streets at 1.40pm, locating a stash of hydroponically-grown cannabis plants.

The plants were confiscated and taken away for further analysis.

The man has been charged with cultivating a prohibited plant, and the possession of goods in custody, and is due to appear in Grafton Local Court on February 28.
