Relief as draft succeeds

KATHERINE Howlett said she was glad the Copmanhurst Campdraft was finally over.

After months of preparation, the Copmanhurst Campdraft Committee secretary said the draft ran smoothly with perfect weather, 941 entries and no hiccups.

The Clarence Valley Tyres Copmanhurst Campdraft was held on Friday, Saturday and the finals were on Sunday. Ken Watters won the novice draft, Warwick Chevalley won the maiden on Fawn and Tim McCarthy won the open on Spirit Olena.
