Robinson nears record

SYDNEY. ? Allan Robinson remained one win short of the national riding record after yesterday's Muswellbrook meeting where he claimed a single victory on the eight-race card.

Robinson rode the Kris Lees-trained Destination to win the Tooheys New Hcp (1550m) for owner Nick Moraitis to reach 215-1/2 for the season.

He will miss today's Randwick meeting but will be in the thick of things at Grafton tomorrow and Thursday.

Robinson will be aboard Sir Breakfast in the Ramornie Hcp (1200m) tomorrow and Gaze On in the Grafton Cup (2400m) on Thursday.

TAB Sportsbet posted Sir Breakfast as the $7 second favourite late yesterday. It won the race three years ago.
