Rolling the dice for charity

A Roaring Twenties Casino Night will be held on Saturday, August 5 at the Grafton District Golf Club to raise funds for the Grafton Community College.

It will be organised by new event management company ThreeOneThree started by Lyn Diskon and Mark Butler, and features entertainment, karaoke and five professional dealers.

"Earlier this year the Grafton Community College secured the former ARTC engineering building on Bent Street, South Grafton and considerable work needs to be done to update it," she said.

"To meet the needs of students and staff alike it is a very expensive exercise."

She said ThreeOneThree aimed to support the local community and focus on local events, including the Grafton Dragon Boat Races family fun day.

"We are both family focused people and both in love with Grafton and the Clarence Valley," Mr Butler said.

Tickets are $35 and available from The Daily Examiner, Grafton Community College and the Grafton District Golf Course.

For more information contact Lyn Diskon on 0427 900 313 or Mark Butler on 0408 434 366.
