Search for GM begins



CLARENCE Valley Council yesterday advertised for its first general manager, the five-year performance-based contract position carrying a negotiable $200,000 a year package.

The advertisement, placed in The Sydney Morning Herald local government positions vacant column, called for a general manager who would continue and strengthen the unified coun- cil. Applications close on May 24.
