Security expert tackles robbery at rugby club

WHEN David Carlisle heard about the break-ins at the Pacific Hotel Yamba Buccaneers clubhouse it made him sick to his stomach.

So, fed up with the continued break-ins in the town, he decided to do something about it.

Mr Carlisle, a ZSS Security technician, made a phone call to his suppliers Kobi Security Products and Cetnaj and in less than a day he had two new security systems ready to be installed at the Buccaneers headquarters.

"I wasn't happy with the constant break-ins and the fact the club had to waste so much money repairing and replacing stock," he said.

Buccaneers president Daryl Rock said: "He has no connection with the club whatsoever, he just wanted to help out. This will save us at least a few hundred dollars and his help reinforces my faith in the community spirit of the people in the Clarence Valley."
