Sponsors jump on the Ghosts

WITHOUT sponsors we can't survive," Grafton Ghosts president Michael Rogan said.

On Sunday, the 2006 NRRRL kicks off and the Grafton Ghosts will sport new look jumpers in all three grades.

The Albion Hotel, now owned by John and Jane Wolf, have come on board as the Ghosts major sponsors again this year.

First grade jumper sponsors are Clarence River Dry Cleaners, second grade, Grafton District Services Club and Under-18s, Bananacoast Community Credit Union. Coca-Cola are the club's new short sponsors.

"We're looking forward to the new season and our first game against South Tweed at Dave Burns Field (Tweed Heads) on Sunday," Rogan said.

"Our Under-18s look a particularly good side.

"The numbers have been good at training and we'll field three teams hoping for wins."
