Swimmers set record



THE Grafton Swim Academy has a record 27 swimmers qualified to attend the NSW Swimming titles to be held in Sydney next month.

Fourteen students from Grafton High School and one student from South Grafton High will represent the North Coast at the Combined High School (CHS) titles at the Sydney Aquatic Centre in Homebush on April 6, 7 and 8.

Jacob Lollback, Josh Donohoe, Brennan McCann, Brooke Walters and Tamara Hearfield will be competing in their age groups in individual events.

Another contingent: Ashley Doyle, Sam Brown, David Piper, Marty and Lewis Hemphill, Brenton Ford, Levi Parberry, Nick Weller and Callan Clare will join them for age relay events and an open medley relay team.

Thirteen primary school students will all represent the North Coast Zone at State on April 11 and 12.

The successful children competing in individual events are: Martin Donohoe, Taylor and Kelsey Wilkes, Tayla Chapman, Caitlin McInnes, Sam Collie, Jake Pitkin and Sigourney Smith.

Matthew Muller, Jordan Weller, Jack Taylor, Ebony Matthews and Julia King will join these children to make up the age relay teams.

The coaches of these children, Al Patterson, Phil Cavanagh, Jo Clare and Lesley Crouch, at the Grafton Swim Academy, are proud of the commitment of their swimmers wish them well for the upcoming carnivals.
