STOP ... Wait! Don't buy your Christmas presents yet. Hold out until Saturday then choose from an array of homemade delights from art, seasonal food, leadlights to children's clothes.

On December 3 the Grafton Regional Gallery on Fitzroy Street, is hosting its annual Christmas Art & Food Market from 10am-3pm.

"It's a fantastic event and is really quite special. There will be around 47 stalls and 99 per cent of the products are home made," gallery education and public program manager, Cher Breeze, said.

Lyndle Bosman of Nana Glen runs a wholesale gourmet pickles business called 'A Bit on the Side' and for the fourth year will attend the market.

"The atmosphere is great with the music in the background, and the people are so pleasant, I do tastings and always get a great response," she said.

Some of her specialties are chili jam, eggplant pickles and tomato kasanundi, which she sells year round at Georgie's Restaurant.

The proceeds of the market go to fund the $20,000 prize for the Jacaranda Acquisitive Drawing Award.

In addition, good coffee and food will be available.
