Test for SGHS girls making quarter finals

By TONY WHITE

SOUTH Grafton High School's talented girls cricket team take on Hills Sports High School in Sydney today for a place in the finals series of the State Schools Knockout competition.

A team of 12 girls and coach Sandra Martin left Grafton by road coach yesterday for the match in Seven Hills.

SGH last week won The Daily Examiner Shield Girls Cricket competition defeating Grafton High School in the final.

If successful against Hills Sports High, SGH will qualify for the final four series, a two-day carnival in Bathurst on March 29 and 30.

"The girls are full of confidence," Martin said.
