Test results

A NUMBER of people tested in Grafton last month for asbestos-related illnesses by the Dust Diseases Board's 'Lung Bus' have received their results.

About 120 people, including miners who worked at the James Hardie-owned asbestos mine in Baryulgil, and their family members, were tested.

But Grafton's Aboriginal Medical Service has held off making comment on the results until the Sydney-based legal team fighting for compensation on the miners' behalf gives approval.
