Tigers on road to Urunga

TOMORROW the Crown Hotel Westlawn Tigers travel to Urunga to take on the Raiders in Round 4 of the North Coast Football Premier League.

With North Coast Football surprisingly scheduling an Easter round of matches, the Tigers will be struggling for two full teams, with a number of players having other commitments for the long weekend and the Raiders refusing to defer the game.

The Tigers will have to muscle up in this contest as the Raiders are known to be a very physical side.

After a below average showing last year, the Raiders are surprisingly sitting on top of the Premier League table after three rounds but they have had a reasonable easy start to the draw compared to the Tigers who have played the 2005 premiers and the runners-up already.

Coach Terry Wratten said if the Tigers can reproduce the form they showed last week in the first 40 minutes against the 2005 premiers, Coffs Lions, they should have a good chance of a win.

Despite some absences coach Wratten can still name a strong Premier League side, placing himself and Peter Fysh in the forwards.
