ROSEHILL trainer Tony Karakatsanis continued his domination of the carnival with another double to take his tally to six winners over four days.

He led in his fifth winner when Bella Senora led all the way to win the LG Electronics Class Three (1200m) then brought off a big plunge when Come In Spanner won the Maico Class Six (1600m).

Both Bella Senora and Come In Spanner were backing up from last Sunday where Bella Senora won and Come In Spanner ran a great fifth in the South Grafton Cup.

Karakatsanis entrusted the ride on Bella Senora to local jockey Craig Franklin who did a great job, rating the mare to perfection in front.

She came away to win by a length from the Graftontrained Quad Queen in a particularly smart time of 1min 08.63 secs, just outside Cangronde's track record and the time that For Valour ran in winning Wednesday's Ramornie.

"She is a mare that had problems, but we have got her over them now," Karakatsanis said.

"I had no hesitation putting Craig on.

"There are some good riders up here and all they need is opportunities."

Bella Senora also won for Franklin last Sunday and the trainer said he had no hesitation backing her up.

"She is a tough thing and thrived since that last run," he said.

"She will go back to Sydney now and on that time will be competitive in city races."
