Waters given task of flow to backline

FORMER South Grafton player Dallas Waters has been selected as halfback for Lower Clarence against Casino at Yamba Sports Complex tomorrow.

"Dallas wanted a couple of weeks to get fit but he's certainly going to be as asset," Magpies captain-coach Jason Wilkinson said.

With Waters taking over at half Dave Purcell joins Aaron Murray in the centres. Centre Ken Mercy is still sidelined for at least another week.

Wilkinson revealed the team was addressed by club president Garry Anderson on Thursday evening to highlight the Magpies run to the finals.

"We discussed our position on the ladder and where we're going," Wilkinson said. "Everyone is positive."
