RUMP STEAK with the house special sauce was the meal of choice for Mike Whitney and the Sydney Weekender crew on Wednesday as they completed filming an episode of the show about the Clarence Valley.
The group stopped at the Commercial Hotel at Ulmarra for lunch and were apparently taken aback by the spectacular position, food and views.
"They came out here and they were just blown away," hotel owner Laurelle Attwill said.
"The point of the show is to try and get people to pull off the highway while they're driving through and have a bit of a meal or a refreshment ... and I think this will help."
She said the crew had a chat with neighbours and locals during their time at the hotel.
The episode will screen on June 25.
