Whiporie bodies male: police

NEW facts about the identities of two badly decomposed bodies found in a burnt-out car near Whiporie on March 1 continue to trickle from the ongoing forensic investigation.

Yesterday, Detective Chief Inspector Jason Breton said the sex of both bodies had been confirmed as male.

But that was all he could confirm of their identities, with forensic investigators still working to determine the cause of death.

It is unknown whether police are any closer to learning the names of the victims or where they were from.

Police have already ruled out foul play, stating last week the deaths were not being treated as suspicious.
