LAST week's round of the Westlawn Finance Women's Competition had more in it than a Monster Meat Tray with 66 goals scored over 18 games.

Coming to the business end of the season, Demons Scotts showed that they are keen for a spot in the finals series with a 4-1 win over Services Gold ? C Danvers, N Green and K Barton doing the damage for the Demons.

Video Ezy continues to show its dominance in A Grade with a 3-0 encounter with Kylies, dominated by L McMahon, A Day and A Hintemolzl in attack.

Bev Hanna played her game of the season scoring four goals in South Services win over Grafton High Reds. This was a great hat-trick and a half ? you should see what she can do with a rabbit.

nONE player recently broke a mirror and wasn't too keen on the impending seven years bad luck.

She's asked her lawyer to go for five.

nTHERE is still opportunity for movement on the points table in all grades, so it's 'Thunderbirds are go', as we zip towards the finals series.

The association AGM is on Tuesday, August 23 at South Services Club commencing at 7pm. Committee positions are declared vacant and nominations are called for. The meeting is compulsory.

nIS, 'tired old cliche,' one?

nOUR sponsors on board this week are Blanchards Haulage and Chevally Fencing.

Why not get Blanchards to drive up a fence to your place and get Chevally's to get it looking gorgeous.

Happy Hockey.
