Workers needed for mixed touch

ORGANISERS of the Grafton mixed touch football competition must have enough people to carry out the off-field duties of the competition or it will fold.

An organiser, Leanne Cameron, said the Grafton Mixed Touch Football Association will hold its AGM on Wednesday, May 4 at 6pm at the Jacaranda Hotel.

"Members are needed to form a committee," Cameron said.

"Assistance is required with field marking, time keeping, lights, sign-on sheets, draws, refereeing etc.

"If there are not enough people to help organise and run the competition, there will not be a mixed comp this season, so please turn up to the AGM and offer your assistance."

The competition is set to commence on Friday, May 20 at Ellem Oval.

The association has sent nomination forms to representatives of all 2004 teams.

New teams are encouraged to enter the competition. If you have not received a nomination form and would like to enter the competition, please phone Cameron on 0403183830.

"It is the responsibility of the team captain to collect fees from individual players prior to submitting nomination forms along with full team registration fee by Wednesday May 4," Cameron said.
