Yamba woman hospitalised

A YAMBA woman was taken to Maclean District Hospital yesterday with cuts to her head after tripping and falling in the Yamba CBD yesterday morning.

The woman was walking along Yamba Road in front of the old NRMA building just after 10 am when she tripped on an uneven section of the footpath.

Yamba ambulance officers were called to the scene and cleaned the woman's cuts before transferring her to Maclean.

There she received stitches to her wounds before being released.
