Artful dinner auction

THE sixth anniversary of the Grafton Regional Gallery Foundation was

celebrated on Friday night with an evening of fine food and drink, art and company at the Yamba Bar and Grill.

Guest speaker for the evening was Peter Watt, an international best-selling author and resident of Maclean, and pieces donated by various artists were colourfully auctioned off during the evening.

Each year since its inception the Grafton Regional Gallery Foundation has held events such as its Annual Anniversary Dinner and Art Auction and the Gate to Plate in order to raise funds to support the vital role the gallery plays in the cultural, social and educational life of the Clarence Valley.

This lively program stimulates debate and appreciation of the visual arts and develops opportunities for members of our community to contribute to the sustainability and development of the Grafton Regional Gallery.
