Australia brings Ashes Series to 4-0 at MCG

AUSTRALIA has cruised to victory in the fourth Test against England at the MCG, achieving the target of 231 for the loss of just two wickets with well over four sessions remaining.

The performance was the highest successful fourth innings run chase at the MCG in 51 years, and made light of a pitch which had troubled the batsmen for much of the first three days.

Chris Rogers hit a superb 116 - his second career Test century - while Shane Watson also contributed with a composed 85 not out.Clarke said grabbing a 4-0 lead was an amazing feeling that he couldn't have predicted.

"Probably not, to be perfectly honest," he said
