Beautiful Baby Competition was a Disney affair
ENTRANTS at the Jacaranda Beautiful Baby Competition this year were greeted by quite the sight when Mickey Mouse and Goofy arrived in a red vintage car.
"I don't know who was more excited to see Mickey and Goofy, the babies or the adults," said event organiser Debbie Cox.
The event was held in Market Square in Prince St Grafton.
This year the competition had 85 entrants and all of the winners were given a little start in life with a $25 Bendigo Bank savings account.
"It's going to be bigger and better next year because we will have Minnie Mouse as well," Ms Cox said.
Ms Cox thanked all of the wonderful members of the community who helped her out on the day.
She also asked to especially thank the judges, Mark Hunting, Tim Ellam, Lewis Cove, Wendy Taylor, Louise Thompson, Denise Barnier and Mickey and Goofy, who had a little trouble seeing through their costumes but got by okay.
"Oh and I better not forget the Bendigo Bank pig who was there as well," said Ms Cox.
