Ben Cousins reportedly under arrest again
FALLEN AFL star Ben Cousins has reportedly been arrested.
The former West Coast Eagles and Richmond midfielder was allegedly picked up by police in Canning Vale, Western Australia, on Tuesday night for breaching a violence restraining order.
He is expected to appear in court later on Wednesday.
If the 38-year-old man in custody is Cousins - as has been reported - it would represent yet another low in the tragic story that is the premiership player's life.
Late last month he was hospitalised following a car crash, which occurred the day after a warrant was issued for his arrest for failing to appear in a Perth court. On that occasion he was expected to appear in Armadale Magistrates Court on charges of possessing methamphetamine and two counts of breaching a violence restraining order over an incident in October.
That incident involved his ex-girlfriend, whom he was warned to stay away from. Cousins told the court he was confused whether he had to stay away from the person protected - the mother of his two children, aged 3 and 5.
Cousins also made headlines in July when he was found directing traffic on a busy Perth highway in a disoriented state and was taken to hospital.
During that incident, police were called to the Canning Highway after Cousins had spent up to three hours with window washers and appeared "lost, confused, making no sense at all", according to one witness.
He reportedly tried to jump on the back of a moving motorcycle.
Last year, he was assessed at a mental health facility after breaking into Perth's Special Air Service Regiment.
