Best mates keep busy through sport

THERE is plenty of surfing and other sporting action to keep a couple of teenagers busy and that’s why Joesph Kirke and Cody Hartmann love living in the Clarence Valley.

The two boys are good mates and apart from sporting adventures they like hanging around with each other, and their other mates.

They also like the girls of the area.

The pair have aspirations to enter the professions when they leave school – Mr Kirke has his eyes on a position in law while Mr Hartmann would like to try the medical profession.

Both boys grew up in the area and plan to stay in Grafton once they leave school.

Mr Hartmann also has a fascination for the Clarence River and has plans to take up rowing.

The Daily Examiner caught up with the young men at Shoppingworld, where they like to hangout and catch up with their mates after school.

They are both in Year 11 at Grafton High School.
