Big River Milk a hit with consumers

THE Clarence Valley's own Big River Milk is proving to be a big hit with consumers as demand continues to exceed expectations.

Business co-owner Jo Madden said people had even stopped Big River Milk delivery trucks in the street to tell the driver how great it is.

Many outlets have been selling out by lunch time.

"There's been a lot of support and positive feedback... it's selling much better then we even imagined," Mrs Madden said.

"When we started we had a target of producing 7000 litres by Christmas, and we're almost getting to that now."

This week, Big River Milk introduced cream in addition to their range of full cream pasteurised milk, full cream homogenised and pasteurised milk, low fat milk, and flavoured milk.
