Birds of a Feather flock on stage

YOU know what they say about birds of a feather? Well, at St Joseph's Primary School, three have found each other.

Renee Jeffrey, Wayne Gilholm and Maree Hickson are the school's music teachers and together they wrote, directed and staged the Birds of a Feather musical, which ran last night.

Tobias Trstenjack, 11, was one of the show's stars.

Tobias played Hoppy the kangaroo who is on a mission to return Lucky the lost bird to her flock.

"The musical was great fun and a great learning experience all the way from audition through to performance," said Tobias.

Haylee Barnett who played Lucky said her favourite part of the play is finally finding her lost flock.
