Caringa celebrates with ten pin

IT was karaoke and bowls for about 90 clients and affiliates of Caringa Enterprises as the organisation enjoyed its annual Christmas party at Grafton Ten Pin Bowls.

Caringa patron and Member for Page Janelle Saffin went along to enjoy the party but denied the opportunity to sing for the eager crowd.

Caringa CEO Janet Ocholla, who also declined to sing through fear of rotten tomatoes, said all who attended had fun.

She said 2009 had been an excellent year for Caringa culminating in a new pool for clients, which opened last week.

Caringa Enterprises offers disability support services including accommodation, respite, work placement and disability enterprises to intellectually disabled people in the Clarence Valley.
