Boxing night was a big hit

THE first Grafton Fight Night in more than a decade was well received by a packed house of an estimated 500 patrons at South Grafton Ex-Servicemen's Club on Saturday night.

There were nine lead-up bouts before the main event between local hopeful Corbin Robertson and Lismore's Billy "The Kid" Robinson.

The bout went the full four rounds and Robertson won himself hero status among the flock of young boys in the audience.
