Boy, 8, gets naked lady poster in lucky dip
A FAMILY got a cheeky surprise when they bought their son a lucky dip prize at the Bargara Strawberry Fair at the weekend.
Eight-year-old Bailey Logan was ecstatic when he received a copy of bike magazine Live to Ride, complete with 45 posters, on Saturday.
But when his mum turned to the centrefold there was a poster of naked women posing on motorbikes.
"In all fairness it was pretty funny," Bundaberg mum Sarah Logan said.
"There were nice little old ladies doing the lucky dip for charity and they must not have flipped all the way through the magazine."
Mrs Logan showed her son the poster before pulling it out and giving him back the magazine.
"It was only showing her topless and he wanted to know why he wasn't getting it," she said.
"He said, 'Ew' when he saw it."
Event organiser Beth Scott was glad the family hadn't been offended, and said nothing like it had happened in the four years of the fair.
"I am extremely shocked and sorry a child would have received that," Ms Scott said.
"We have a lot of things donated, and in the future we will be sure this doesn't happen again."
Mrs Logan posted a photo of the racy poster on Facebook.
A few commenters criticised the fair organisers, but most shared Mrs Logan's amusement.
"One person said we should name and shame them for it, but to be honest it seems like a simple mistake," Mrs Logan said.
"If it was full-on hardcore then that would have been different, but I thought it was hilarious."
