Boyd, Honeybrook put Iluka to the sword

WANDERERS v ILUKA: While Wanderers pace weapon Brandon Honeybrook took control of the contest with a dominant 70 not out with the bat, it was a fellow Wanderers seamer who caused havoc with the ball.

Experienced firebrand Adrian Boyd tore through the Iluka batting order to take 4 for 12 off 6 overs. Young pace option Tom Simpson (4 for 13 off 5) also impressed with the ball for Wanderers as the batting side experienced a steady collapse, bowled out for 106 in the 34th over.

While Wanderers lost Alex Robison in the first over, they made short work of the run chase as Honeybrook blasted the ball to all parts of Iluka Oval on his way to another half-century for the season, chasing the total down in just 15.1 overs.
