The video was filmed just outside of Gympie north of the Sunshine Coast on a winding section of the Bruce Hwy.

The vehicle fitted with a dashcam is following a vehicle towing a 4WD on a trailer, travelling south on the highway.

Travelling about 100kmh, the car trailer starts to sway but the driver shows no signs of slowing down.

Within seconds, the trailer is swaying wildly coming to perilously close to overturning, forcing the driver to slam on their brakes and slow down dramatically.

Soon the hazard lights are on and the driver is attempting to exit the highway.

The video was posted on October 19.
