Brothers united in song and congas at the Clocky
THE Clocktower Hotel are getting in early this week with a Friday night gig to kick start your weekend.
They have called upon the Lower Clarence's Brothers Ford for this social occasion which will see the finely tuned siblings delve into their 40 years combined experience to deliver a variety of genres through their weapons of choice.
In Darren's case it's an acoustic guitar and his voice, while big brother Tony aka Crinkle will cover the drums, conga, harmonica and also give his vocals a workout.
The pair who are well known around the Clarence Valley musical circuit thanks to their previous outfits, including party band Mudcrab Boogie who have impressed the likes of Mr Russell Crowe and Mr Troy Cassar-Daley, will be dipping into their back catalogue of hits and covers that never die from the likes of Crowded House, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Coldplay, Pearl Jam, Eric Clapton and Ben Harper as well a selection of blues standards.
