Brush up skills at Artsfest

IT'S TIME to put the paintbrush to the canvas and unleash your inner artist at the 2011 Grafton Artsfest Autumn Festival.

From April 13-16 you can have the ultimate artistic experience, participating in workshops tutored by professional artists with experience in all art mediums.

“Any person interested in learning more about oil painting, watercolour, mixed media or acrylic is more than welcome to be a part of our autumn program,” said Grafton Artsfest president Fay Boyd. “We're lucky to have some wonderful art tutors – such as Judith White and Brian Stratton – involved in Artsfest to share their artistic skills and expose your hidden talents.”

Artsfest autumn workshops will be held at Grafton High School from 9am to 4pm, Wednesday to Saturday. Cost is $375 per person or $350 for concession card holders. All workshops are open to people 16 and above.
