Business awards up for grabs

THE cream of the business crop will flow into The Daily Examiner Clarence Valley Business Excellence Awards tomorrow night in what could be described as the most prestigious awards evening in the region.

Marketing and promotions manager Erica Fletcher said the guest list had already exceeded expectations, with 183 registered so far.

She said the night was important for not only those involved in business, but the wider community.

"It not only raises confidence for business owners and their staff, but it creates confidence for the Clarence Valley residents, knowing they have excellent businesses in the region," Ms Fletcher said.

"Plus we have fabulous food and a fabulous band that will be playing afterwards."

A courtesy bus will run from Grafton, to Maclean and to Yamba and return. Bookings are essential. Phone 0438 007 263.
