Cameron Pilley's shot of the month

Cameron Pilley's unplayable smash wins shot of the month

YAMBA squash player Cameron Pilley produced an unplayable smash to win the Professional Squash Association's Shot of the Month for January.

After a long and strenunous rally, Pilley pulled out a crosscourt smash which hit the nick and rolled.

The Australia No.1 and World No.14 also chose the perfect opponent to hit the shot against - world No.1 Mohamed Elshorbagy. However, despite his heroics, the 33-year-old lost the clash, which was the second round of the JP Morgan Tournament of Champions in New York.

Pilley has been grabbing plenty of attendtion of the PSA World Tour, including being named PSA Mens Player of the Month in December after defeating three world top 10 players on his path to the final of the Hong Kong Open, where he eventually lost to - you guessed it - Elshorbagy.
