Car T-boned at Grafton intersection

THREE people have escaped major injury in a T-bone collision at a Grafton intersection this morning.

Police said the accident happened about 9am, when the male driver of a Hyundai Getz travelling along Oliver St failed to give way to a Toyota Hilux on Prince St.

After the initial collision the Getz spun out and ran over a Give Way sign on an Oliver St median strip.

Emergency crews were on scene until 9.30am.

The occupants of the Getz, a male driver and female passenger, were taken to Grafton Base Hospital for observation.
