Card saves you dollar dazzlers

IT'S back – and the list of savings it can offer you is endless.

Known as the Rhinos Card, this little beauty has been busy injecting local dollars back into Clarence Valley businesses and allowing you to save a few extra bob in your back pocket for the past two years.

And it's back in 2011.

Grafton Rhinos Sporting Club vice president Pat Swift describes the Rhinos Card as a tangible way of giving something back to the sponsors of local sporting clubs and associations.

“It's a great way of giving our sponsors extra credit,” he said.

“Sponsorship dollars are hard to come by and the loyalty card is essentially our way of giving something back to the people who support local sporting clubs.

“They're a valuable asset to any wallet.”

The Rhinos Card is non-transferable and offers discounts of up to 20% at a variety of local businesses and service providers. These include:

20% off Hungry Jacks, South Grafton

15% off services at Ken Casson Motors, Grafton.

10% off meals at the Jacaranda Motor Lodge.

“The Rhinos Card has received a lot of positive feedback and they definitely help local retailers attract more customers,” Pat said.

“Our sponsors are getting more for their money and this year the Grafton Rhinos Sporting Club has 10,000 of these cards up for grabs.

“These cards can be used more than once at any listed business, conditions applying.”

Rhinos Cards have a 12-month expiry date and are valid until April 1, 2012.

They can be purchased from the Grafton City Soccer Club, Grafton Hockey Association and Grafton Netball for $5.
