Champions have first-week break

THE Clarence River Cricket Association's 2011-2012 season commences this Saturday for the premier league, and second and third grades.

The Wykes Tyre Power Co sponsored Cleavers Mechanical Night Competition commences next Monday night with the round one game between Brothers and East GDSC set down under the lights at McKittrick Oval.

The SCG Country Cup draw for 2011-2012 will see Clarence River take on Coffs Harbour Association at Coffs Harbour Sport & Leisure No 1 ground on Sunday, October 30.

PREMIER LEAGUE:

Draw round one (two-day games):

Brothers v Westlawn (Ulmarra Showground); Coutts Crossing v Tucabia (Ellem Oval); East GDSC v South Services (McKittrick Oval).

Bye - Harwood.

SECOND GRADE:

Draw round one (two-day games):

Tucabia v East White (Lower Fisher Turf); Coutts Crossing v Westlawn (JJ Lawrence); East Green v Brothers (Rushforth Park No 2).

Bye - South Services.

THIRD GRADE

Draw round one (one-day games):

Westlawn v Tucabia (Rushforth Park No 1); Brothers v East (Lower Fisher No 2); Coutts Crossing v South Services (Coutts Crossing).
