Charge is led by Mills-Thom

A FIELD of 21 shooters lined up from the 200 mark for a field class event at Grafton on Saturday.

The conditions were fine and sunny with a slight left- to-right breeze. Top off rifle was Greg Mills-Thom 100 (with 3), second was Andrew Geary 99 (with 10), third was Nick Abrahall with 96 (with 13).

Eleven possibles were shot on the day with Greg Mills-Thom shooting the perfect 4, Andrew Geary shooting 3, Nick Abrahall shooting two, and Andrew Paull and Gary Irons shooting 1 possible each.

Due to technical difficulties Maggie Skeel was unable to complete her shoot.

Next week is 90 metres rim fire class followed by pistol/black powder.

A reminder to all that the NRAA Field Class Queens shoot is on at Dairyville next weekend.

It would be good to see as many there as possible.

The range is on Trenayr Road, opposite Koppers Logs.

Turn off at the Blue Goose and turn right just past the Red Lane turn-off.

New shooters are welcome.

The range is open from 8.15am on Saturdays for set up, with shooting commencing at 9am.

Sign-on times are from 8.30 to 9am.

If you arrive late you may not get a spot.
