Clarence River Cricket update

THE cricket matches at Ulmarra Showground and Victoria Park, Tucabia are definitely still on today, Ellem Oval is on standby.

Ulmarra will see two Premier League favourites Harwood and Tucabia-Copmanhurst go head to head. The 2nd Grade fixture between Tucabia-Copmanhurst and South Services will take place at Tucabia.

Meanwhile the all-important Premier League 4th versus 5th clash between Coutts Crossing and Westlawn will still go ahead at Ellem Oval subject to inspection by umpires and captains at 1pm.

All seven other CRCA fixtures are off, according to CRCA secretary Judy Disson.

On Friday afternoon Lower Clarence president Tim McMahon called off all senior LCCA fixtures with just one junior match taking place today between - an under-12s semi-final between Yamba and Harwood Blue at Iluka..

The North Coast Inter-District representative grand final between Clarence River and Coffs Harbour will still go ahead at 10m Sunday. However discussions are ongoing about the possibility of moving the match from Ellem Oval to Ulmarra Showground.

At this stage the North Coast Inter-District Under-16 grand final between Lower Clarence and Nambucca Bellingen at Harwood Oval tomorrow at 10am is still on.
